Arts

From Dan Powell, Orlando, thanks! beautiful art; perfect encapsulation of this mission:

I wasn’t going to share this one. I’m not good at watercolors but force myself at times to try things that are hard. When we only do what is comfortable to us we don’t grow and learn as much. So don’t be afraid to try new and share your work. And challenging yourself to learn new things is great for your brain health. So don’t judge my ugly clouds but know I will keep trying to improve 😉

There are art shows—and then there is Tampa’s Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, where it

feels as though virtually every imaginable form of creativity has gathered for one

spectacular weekend along the river.

Set against the beautiful downtown waterfront at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, this

nationally recognized juried festival brings together hundreds of accomplished and

emerging artists. You wander from painting to sculpture, photography to glass, ceramics

Welcome to the Arts group! What are some of the many ways you let your

creativity…artistry…craftsmanship…come to life? What are some of your favorite

mediums and techniques? Where do you go to learn? What are some of your favorite

galleries or shows? How do YOU experience art?

Welcome to our group ARTS! A space for us to connect and share with each other. Start by posting your thoughts, sharing media, or creating a poll.
